So, Sash and I hot-foot it across Hyde park to Lancaster gate, catch the Central Line to St Pauls, walk up and through the Barbican to the Barbican Centre to join my Mum, my sister Liz and Greta in the 'Balcony Bistro' for dinner. We are celebrating Mum's 75th.

For pudding I have a thing a bit like a crème caramel, but made with sauternes and with prunes.

I wanted it not to end.
